IT'S ON!
Titus Canyon - a 27-mile one-way track that travels from east to west through the Grapevine Mountains, the ghost town of Leadfield, the Klare Springs Indian petroglyph site and the spectacular Titus Canyon then ends in Death Valley.

The trail begins in Beatty and ends in the ghost town of Ryolite just outside Beatty.
Meet across from the Stagecoach Casino.
Meet 0830 and Roll 0900.

This run can be done in a FULL day from Vegas(dark to dark). Beatty has hotels, casinos and an rv park if you wish to stay there.

Ooooh, this is going to be a great run! I love Titus Canyon. Ricky and I will be there, barring any complications.

frank's right, daily report shows titus is open and recently graded. wow!!! park service was quick this time. but with more storms expected between now and the club run i think we should keep an eye on the situation. 8)

Hi. Just thought I would mention....

We had friends in and took them through Titus Canyon on Tuesday. It has never been more beautiful. You could have driven a Corvette the entire way. Newly graded, smooth and nice. Now I'm not saying it's going to be like that in April, but on Tuesday it was fantastic.

When is the date for the April run. We are thinking of coming down for some doctors appt. for Coral and would love to make a run also. Maybe a little camping while we are there.

The date would be 4/18. It would be great if you & Coral made it down here. We could start planning the festivities and tortures for July.
