I'm not afraid of him. I'll just tell him I saw you eating at Famous Dave's BBQ and you left with no doggy bag. Then we'll see who'll be in the doghouse

I plan on being there.

I just got confirmation that we will be having a special guest from Utah on the run.
Finally, after several years of waiting he/they are going to be here.

Come on D. You know how we do it. Between Titus and Rhyolite, it will take us all day.

Info on Scotty's Castle... http://www.desertusa.com/mag99/apr/stories/castle.html

The other is Charles Manson's hideout called Barker's Ranch. It's near this coordinate N35 51.574 W117 05.333 If you recall, it's the one that was on the news not too long ago when they thought there were more bodies buried there. Never heard the results from that. It's on Goler Wash if I remember correctly just off Coyote Canyon Road.

Just made reservations at Death Valley Inn. Not going to be schlepping the motorhome up for this trip, just taking a room for Friday night.

Bob,

Any idea which campsite the festivities are at Friday night? What time do you plan to get to Beatty? I would hate to be the first one at the party.

Several of us will be staying at the DV Inn RV Park. I should be there by 5 the latest. The best way to tell where the festivities re being held is to see which campsite has the largest crowd. Our group will probably outnumber anyone else that are there.

They found no conclusive evidence and gave up looking. IIRC they felt it was more or less a legend.

Justin and Angie:
Thanks so much for the run. What a great time!
Good run, good food, good people. What else could a person ask for?
