Once again, it is that time of year for us to invade White Pine County. We will be running several trails in the Ely area. Saturday night will have a Club sponsored BBQ. For those stayind on Sunday, we will be going to the Club's adopted cabin on Mt. Moriah for some cabin repairs and probably a BBQ.

There are plenty of hotel rooms and campgrounds available. More details as the time gets closer.

I'll be there again, definitely.

for those that don't know, this is just an amazing time.

My lil sis got to tag along last year, and still talks about it.

Now you're getting a bit more closer to home. Can anyone attend this? Just curious because I could cruise out the P.E.T. run two days worth of trails in Ely, then cruise on back through Delta and hit maybe Cat Canyon, Chainsaw, or Sawmill.

we've had several folks in the past camp at cave lake and make the runs each day. it's something like 13 to 15 miles from the boat launch at the lake to town. 8)

We're in for this one. This will be our first run with the club.
Heading up Friday morning and staying through Sunday.
Booked our room at the Motel 6 (Fingers Crossed).
Looks like it's a crap-shoot as far as room quality goes up there.

I hope you are heading up real early. the runs start on Friday and Saturday. And more than likely half day on Sunday.

Are they seperate runs on each day returning to town at the end of the day?
Or is it a long continuous run that starts Friday morning and finishes Saturday?
Either way, got a start time and meeting place for me? :D

Total seperate days. You will be back in town by dinner time each day. The final details haven't been worked out yet. But in the past, we have met around 8am at the Sinclair gas station. When we get closer, the details will be announced.

We've stayed there for the last 2 years, plus countless other trips. It's about 5 miles from the highway and less than 10 to town. We're staying in a room this time, only because the time it takes to drive there after a run, go to Ruth to partake in the after run activities and then back makes for a long day.

IMO the camp grounds just before Cave Lake (Elk View or something like that) are better. They're newer, bigger and are usually less crowded. Both campgrounds are $14 a night with showers.

we'll be stageing each day at the sinclair travel plaza on the reservation between ely and the koa, gas-food-snacks-bathrooms. you'll see it on the left thursday night as you drive out to set-up camp. plan on being there around 0730-0800 friday morning to prep for the trail rides. each evening the after run stuff happens in ruth 7 miles west of ely on hwy 50 at trailcat's resort, you'll find someone to take you over there or call me at 775/296-3639 for turn by turn directions.
