Hello all...

Jack will be leading the September club run on Saturday, 9/24/22. He has informed me that we will be visiting the Gypsum Cave and West End wash. If we have enough time, we may also visit the Anniversary Mine. :D

We will meet at the Timbers located at the intersection of Lake Mead & Mt. Hood. Meet at 9:00 and leave at 9:30.

Since we are in the process of changing from CB radios to GMRS radios, Jack and I will be running both types of radios. If you have a GMRS radio, please bring it, otherwise your CB radio will work just fine. FYI: We have found that if you have the GMRS radios that come 2 to a pack from Wal Mart, those will work, but are low powered. And depending on the terrain, can have very limited range. :(

If anyone has any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Thanks.

John. 8)

Since when was this voted on? I remember the meeting to talk about it. But, there was not a decision made at that time.

I’m in for this run with both CB and GMRS. However, I dig my MXT275 for trail usage so count me with team GMRS.

See you then!

Where are these sites? The ones I located by those names are very far apart. Coordinates, please.

Something came up so I’ll catch the group ride next month. Have fun!
