Due to Sunrunners persistence, I have decided to do a fun run.

Funeral Range and Echo Cayon trails going into Death Valley.
At the hardest part, the trail rates a 3.0. There is a waterfall that you will have to desend. Not recommended for trucks with long rear overhang unless lifted.

Meet at Nevada Joe's gas station in Lathrop Wells (turn off for Amagosa), approx. 75 miles north of town on Hwy 95.

Meet at 8am. Roll at 8:30am.

Contact me for more info. 453-2358 8)

A fun day to go play!!! Humm, I'll have to think about that. Since I didn't get out this weekend, I just may have to go. Sounds like too much fun to miss. :D

I'll be there. Been on this one before, about 4 years ago, but ready to go again. Thanks Bob.

Sounds like a fun one... But I can't make it... My sister Bobbie Jean is moving to 'Vegas from Maryland... She should arrive either Thursday or Friday... We'll be spending the weekend to get her settled in... I'm sure that she wouldn't be up for a run like this after 3 days on the road... However,, I'm sure that she'll be with us on the Feb. Club Run.... Take pix and post up.... Have fun all... Phil

Sure Bob, blame it on me. I can't help it if I'm out of town most of the time and just want to get a bit of dirt time in.
Sounds like a great trip. That's a great area.
Of course I'm in.
Is that the turn off w/ the "rest area" and the gas station with the wooden facade and really large parking lot?

You're close. Same area, but on the other side of the highway. You're thinking of the Exxon/Mobil station. We're meeting at the gas station across the highway.

Coral and I will be back in time to meet and go. This is a fun run, we did this one before we were lifted. Should have no problem this time. Be there and be glad.

I was just checking out these trails in the new backcountry adventures book for so cal that I just bought in TX and they look really cool. After the trails I'm going to head up to Beatty to fill a few candy orders at the Death Valley Nut and Candy shop. MMMMM yum!

Any idea what time you'll roll back into Vegas? Just looking for a ball park number.
Thanks

I hope no later than 5 or 6 back in town. But, you know that anything can happen.

I hate to back out of a run, but got some chores going on this weekend around the house and have been on this particular run before. So, we'll opt for the Club Run next Saturday...hard to make 2 weekends in a row.
Everyone have fun. We will be on the Titus Canyon run though, haven't done that one before. See you all next weekend.
