there is a trail in AZ ...ive not been on it in 4 yrs...
my oldest learned to drive on this trail...fun vid at the end!

this will be an all day event...

WED

76 gas station in Boulder City

its on the right hand side of the road just a short distance east of
Railroad Pass...hotel

if we meet at the gas station at 8am...we can leave at 8:30am

bring lunch / snacks /water

have a CB and make sure your fuel tank is topped off.

the trail is approx 27 miles + - from Hoover dam in AZ.

trail rating was 1 or 2...nothing difficult very scenic at the lake

keep in mind...things change in the desert

i have not been on this trail in 4 yrs.

plan on a full day trip....getting across the dam may take awhile!

i forgot to list the name of the trail

"Eldorado Jeep Trail"
its # 54 on the map for Lake Mead Rec Area

we go towards kingman turn right off the highway ends at lake Mojave.

ive run into trafffic at the dam that can take an extra hr or so.
all depends on if there is an accident on the "dam rd."

so its hard to judge time

best guess early return 4pm

best guess late arrival 6pm

the trail is in great shape...
dress warm...it can get real cold in the shade of the cyn
we got home at 4:45pm
