I thought about calling off work, and doing a run this weekend, but the weather isn't going to cooperate, I think. maybe I'll just call off work.

I'm with JJ on this one, wait and see what the weather does. IF it does half of what they are predicting, it might be ugly every where till Sunday.

Plus a snow run through Mormon Wells would be fun

I am up for a snow run on Sunday- should be lots of snow. It is snowing good here in Mesquite- The mountains are covered.
Maybe Mormon Well road- wait Scuba Steve rolled last time in the snow there- any ideas throw them out otherwise I will just make a quick run here in Mesquite up and around the Virgin Mountains and come out at Whitney Pockets.

Morman Well was getting hit bad on the way home from work today. Course everything up there was bad. It took me an hour and a half to get home from work. I am sure there is a lot of snow up there now. I think Sheila would be up for it because she has never been on a snow run.

I'd be up for a snow run on Sunday morning. I can only go for a half day or until around 2pm if anyone posts. If it's stock-friendly, I may take the WK out to stretch her legs!! :D

Anything will take stock!! Just depends on how much strapping, winching, and damage you want. LOL

However, what I was getting at is if anyone was going to do a "club run" type of run in the snow, then I would take my Grand. My wife drives it and I DO NOT want any damage. Otherwise, I would not be going home. LOL

If I go anywhere I will probably take my YJ anyway, I always do. :D

This is what JJ was talking about.

Keith, a lot of us have taken stock rigs through there. Everything from TJ's and YJ's to Phil in his XJ. All it takes is some good spotting.

Vegas Valley has a snow run through there tommorrow and Jeeping Joe is taking a run through there next weekend. Sounds like both are going to go from Lovell Canyon into Red Rock.

Not sure Mormon got any real snow to make that way worth wild from what I've been hearing. I know we had guys coming in to plow snow last night on OT and they didn't work long from what I heard.

As usual, the weather guessers got all excited over nothing. 3" of snow on the valley floor, suuure

Just looking around at the mountains today, it didn't seem to be much new snow anywhere. I'd be surprised if there is much, if any, on Potato Ridge. I was hoping to see some snow like in January 2005 on the west side. That was fun just riding on the pavement let alone on the mountain trails.
