We will meet at the Speedway exit of I-15 at the gas station parking lot at 7a depart at 7:30a. We will do Bitter Springs and the off shoot to Anniversary mine. I'd say we should be on pavement no later than 2p or 3p if even that late. We could cut out the off shoot if need be. We can decide that when we get to the turn off.

Bring your camera, drinks, lunch and snacks. I know of a couple places that we can play on that are more difficult, but there are ways around them if need be.

Dress for the season if you have anything, or decorate your rig!! Let's make this a festive, fun run!!

See you early in the morning!!!

Bummer, bummer, bummer for me! :( Lots of out of town family staying here and we are going to PLAY GOLF on Saturday, and then a fancy-dancy meal out.

Now if I could just squish all 6 of us in the jeep? Nah - they wouldn't go for it. Have fun, anyway - I wish I could go since it has been a while since I've been out that way. Merry Christmas!

Golf sounds like fun, too. I golf once a year, when I go back home to Ohio my brother, sister, and I have our annual golf open. My sister won this past summer. Dang, I was only two strokes away from beating her. Funny thing is, my brother and sister play a lot during the year. I only play once a year and that is when I play. :D Does that mean that they're bad? No...I'm just lucky!! :P

Hey Lucy, we could take the tops off, squish a few in everyone's Jeeps and do like desert golf/polo on our way through the trail. :P

Merry Christmas to you, too. Maybe next Saturday we could get out and hit some dirt!!!

Oh, yeah! Off Road Golf! Can this be a new sport? The player stands up on a seat from an open top jeep, and uses a 10-foot long club to whack a golf ball over an obstacle! Spotters are helpful, of course, unless slicing the ball is your curse! haha

Yep....I'll be there. See y'all bright and early. If we were doing a night run we could decorate the rigs with Christmas lights! That would be cool. :D

I like the Golf Idea! Maybe we should try it on a shorter trail first. Fewest strokes to the end of the trail wins? Anyone have a used set of clubs to play with in the desert?

Some 3/4" pvc pipe, a few tee-joints, and some end caps is all it would take to make some trail worthy clubs for some off-road polo. Custom lengths tuned to the amount of lift on your rig. :P

We could start earlier before the sun even thinks of coming up!! I normally get up at 4a any way. What's a couple hours earlier? :P

This "Off Road Golf" stuff sounds like fun,,,,, but !!! What about Allan and Geno and Me !!!! We demand some kind of handicap because we can't stand up !!!!! We have to shoot with one arm out of the window !!! At any rate it sounds like a fun day ............ I'll try to make it on Sat. even though it's early ,,, and I don't know if CJ has to work that day... The Anniversay Mine 'detour' is awsome and I hope we can do it... I'll do my best to make it ..... Phil
