Thanks to everyone who came out. Shirley and I had a great time. When it comes to leading the Fireworks runs, John you are the man. Thanks for once again leading the run. 8)

I agree. Great time. I have a few pix of the fireworks and one of these days I'll get around to uploading them. Don't hold your breath.

Third that! Thanks, John for leading. That was my father-in-law's first run and although it was a short one, I think he'll be along for more. Maybe I can get him to buy a Jeep!! :D

That was a good first run for someone. It couldn't scare them like Sat trip.

Yeah, If you didn't hear my story. I took my wife for her first run on that Matterhorn trail. Needless to say, she hasn't been back in my Jeep since! :?

Yeah I remember you telling me that. my Mom's the same way. She likes the easy trips but would kick my ass if I took her on something like Materhorn adn would never come out again. You just need to ease them into these things. Going straight down a waterfall can be quite unsettling. Especially when your underside meets the rock with a spine chilling crunch.

Nice view from the top - thanks, JC, for the tradition! It was a nice little ride, but I always get "lost" coming down!

In reference to "scary 4x4 rides", my first memory is when I was 10 years old & my dad had an old 1968 Dodge Powerwagon pick up truck and he was heading up Frenchman Mtn., just east of the city. I was in the back bed of the truck absolutely terrified as the the tires spun while looking over the edge of the cliff. I didn't think it was fun AT ALL  It is fun now! :P

Wow! Thanks for the firework shots - #28, 34 & 35 were my favorites, and I forwarded it along to others on my e-mail list to share a little of that night.

Thanks! Any other good firework shots? Red Rubi Steve?

Yeah Lucy I got a couple good ones but they are pretty much the same as the shots trukdj put up. He got some really good pix of us, the people, where mine were just of the fireworks.
We did get some good pix from Logandale yesterday and I'll get around to posting those sometime somewhere. We had a great time out there with Jodi and the friends that came out from Dayton.
Hope everyone has a great new year. I'll be back in town around superbowl and will be begging for a run on the Saturday before. Hope someone willbe willing to get dirty.
