MoabJeeper Staff Members want to meet you and see some of our area trails.

Some of the staff members of MoabJeeper Magazine, an online 4X4 magazine, will be here in Las Vegas for the IMPACT Off-Road Show on Jan. 17th-19th. I talked to the president about sticking around on Saturday to do a run with the Nevada Backroaders. Since they haven't wheeled in Nevada, only Utah and some surrounding areas, he is really interested and excited in meeting the members of our club and to see a little bit of Nevada's wheelin'. He would like to write an article about our club and the run we do, to put in his magazine.

Due to a little time constraint, I was thinking of taking them through Potato Ridge for the run. What I need is at least 4 open seats to show them a great time. Adventure Bob will be flying out from Florida. Moabman and Dr. Jones will be driving from the Salt Lake City area. Larry is a professional photographer and he is coming along, too. He lives in Ohio.

I know this is really early, but I need to put it out here. I see Rubicon Bob posted a weekend run to Calico for that same weekend. For those of you who won't be going to that run, here's what is happening on this day. Maybe you would like to join us for a fun run on that day a little closer to home.

Please post your interest ASAP so I have an idea how many people will tenatively be able to make it. The more, the merrier.

Meeting time and place will be posted in this forum when the time draws nearer.

Thanks for your support,

Joe OIIIIIIIO

Sounds fun! I can help and I think this is a great idea - unless there is SNOW? I hope you have a plan B trail...

Thanks, Lucy. I figure there to be a few people who would like to go. A lot of members get all warm and fuzzy feeling when it comes to Potato Ridge runs. :D

Yeah, I should have a plan B run, too. You never know what the weather is going to be like that time of year. I'll have to put my thinking cap on to find a trail that is like Potato. I'll think of something.

Awesome!! Now just because we have a seat for everyone it doesn't mean you shouldn't go for those of you who haven't posted. If it's anything like the runs I did with these guys in Moab, they will be changing vehicles from time-to-time. So the more the better.

Thanks all for posting up and when the time gets closer, I'll post the details. I may have to have a couple open seat people come over to my place to pick them up, too. Since I only have one seat myself, it would be rather hard to get the other three stuffed in there. :P

Thanks again!! :D

I've never done Potato Ridge and have been watching for an 'advance' notice on such a run. You're talking about Jan 20 right? Covered seating for 12 in the back, or room for gear.

Ah, that's too bad Geno. That's okay though. I won't hold it against you. :D It looks like we may have a great turn out with plenty of seats.

Yeah Mike, it's on Saturday, Jan. 20th 2007. Wow this year flew by.

I will post the definites when the time comes. The date is set for sure. If the MoabJeeper staff happens to have to head for home early, like Friday night, then I'll still be up for the run on that day. So keep that date in your mind and in your date book.

Thanks for all the response, too!! This is such an awesome club!!!
