John G. would like to take a trip over Potato Rd. Meeting at the Chevron/McDonalds at Rainbow and 160. Meet @ 8:30am. Roll @ 9am. This run is not exactly stock friendly, but it has been done with a stock Wrangler with some proper spotting. Trail rates from a 3 - 3.5. As normal with harder trails, damage is a possibilty.

I'd love to join the group again. Let me make sure my wife hasn't signed us up for anything else that weekend.

 OK Bob... I missed the last one when I had my sister BJ on the run... She was hurting,, but loved what we did... I made it thru Potato once,, but now I'm higher and more articulated... This time I will get pictures and videos to document the crossing... I hope that CJ will be able to come along... Phil

Potato Rd, as we call it, runs from Red Rock scenic loop over the mountain to Lovell Canyon Rd. It is also commonly refered to as Potato Ridge. But in reality, the name is Rocky Gap Rd.

I know I'm going! :P

This will be my "reunion run" with the club after many, many months and even more months away. My son, Steve, will be coming along, too.

I was hoping one of the helpful and knowledgeable club members might help me rewind my wench cable. It's all messy and I need to learn how to operate it, anyway.

Welcome back Lucy. I think we might be able to help you with the winch.
