I'll make it official I guess

We'll run Arrow Canyon "backward" going from West to East. Meet at the Sinclair Station in Glendale (I-15 North exit 90) at 7:30 PM, roll by 8 PM. Bring snacks and drinks, and if the ice cream man comes we can stop for sure :P

Update-After doing the pre-run last night we found a few things out. There has been some decent flooding in spots like the wash crossing by Warshield Canyon, the entrance to the slot canyon, etc. While most of it is nothing too serious, it does make the trail a solid 1.5 this way. The really rough stuff we'll be through in the early evening, so you should have some daylight to help. I did most of it in 2X, so most anyone should be able to do it in 4X. It's really a matter of how you feel about your ability in the dark, but anyone needing it will get some help/guidance to get you through. I'm going to keep an eye on the weather in th earea as they are now calling for t-storms all next week.

*But it might not be especially full size friendly in a few spots, and desert pin striping is a possibility as the trail has grown over some in spots since we were last there.*

It was still a fun trail, and the slot canyon was neat in the dark. I saw 3 kit foxes and half a dozen jack rabbits. Plus the bugs were out in the canyon and so were the bats, so you get a show too

We left just after 7 PM and got to the pavement just after 10 PM. The cafe at the station closes at 10 PM, but the store and bar are open all night on weekends, so you have acces to the bathrooms and such.

I guess I'll need to finish wiring up my rock lights. I've probably had 20 people ask me about the dangling wires under the Jeep.

I'm scheduled to work Sat morning (long before sunup).
If they cancel I will try to be there. Waking up at 1230am every day(night?) sucks :x

Gary,, I've got my 'hand basket' ready to go.... CJ's ready to hone his night driving skills , so that will leave me time to get lots of pix... I hope that I can be up front with you so that I can see some wildlife to photo... Sounds like another great run...... Phil
