It will be visable with Stan's 50 mil candlepower light

Joe you never know what can happen at night, I can do it if it can be done. I think I bent my drag link on Angel Peak Saturday because now my steering wheel is off center. Or maybe I did it when I lifted my front wheel on the pavement when the locker didn't unlock :? It still drives and have some repairs to do this weekend so I will re-align everything again and go over all the bolts and torque to spec. Maybe I will be there.

I hope to be doing either Potato Rd. or Tie Rod that night. I just did Bittersprings a few weeks ago... nothing difficult about it at all except maybe finding your way if your driving blindfolded

Its definately night run season around these parts 8)

You will need 4x for your libby. I still haven't figured out exactly which trail and/or trails we will be doing.  It could depend on how people feel or what time it is.

A 2wd ranger made it just fine through there a few weeks ago on stock tires. Really its just a dirt road with a few rocks in the way, I would say a 2wd liberty would be OK especially if travelling in a group but thats just my opinion.

I do 99.9% of it in 2X but I have a limited slip in the rear. And I can have a heavy right foot as some of you guys found out during Arrow Canyon  The wash going out can be iffy, I'd be afraid of being stuck in that section with only a 2X. Especially with the rain as of late.

My only worry was prepping for my smog test and all went well today on that. Wifey is well pleased with the four ceiling fans and one chandelier I dealt with this week, so the kitchen pass was easy. I look forward to meeting up with you folks for this run.

As far as food/snacks, do you all generally pack enough of something to share with all, or do you just make sure to have enough for your own ride with maybe a little extra? I'm not too experienced at this 'group' thing.

I wasn't planning on anything, but if people want, that's fine by me.

The Moapa Paiute travel plaza (Meeting Place) is having its 4th of July celebration this weekend. Saturday it starts at 6pm and fireworks at 9pm. Not sure what to expect just thought I would pass it along since we are meeting there. The ad says Live Bands, Food and fun start at 6PM

Hopefully I will see everyone there!!

Just have the CB's on channel 4 and call out if things are a little crazy for a meeting place down the road. As far as that goes, if it's busy at the plaza, we could meet at the trailhead. It's not hard to find. Where the pavement makes a hard, nearly 90 degree left hand turn and a dirt road is straight, just go straight. Can't miss it even in the dark.

Thanks Craig for the info. Joe has the right idea. Let's meet at the trail. From the Tribal shop, follow the pavement towards Valley of Fire. About 2 - 3 miles down the road will turn left, you will see a gravel road that continues going straight. we will meet there at the same times. I will be on CB. Ch 4.

Any questions call 232-3422.
