Hey there.....my folks will be around from the 20th through the 29th (leaving late on the 29th). I'd love to do the whole Arrow Canyon trail with them, but it's a bit much to do in one vehicle....even if it is Gypsy. 8)

It would be a real hoot if some of the Misguided Children came along, to try The Squeeze (or whatever you've decided to call it)....

Whaddya all think?

I suggest we meet at the gas station in Glendale at 8am, but the exact day is up for grabs. Who'd like to go, and what day?

I'd go again. I might be able to do something around the 24th or 25th.

if you want to make an ALL day sort of thing, you can go back via the Mormon Well road. After the Canyon trail, hit the blacktop to 93 south for a ways. adds another 3 or 4 hours, but it's a nice day.

Weeelll....since the response has been less than overwhelming, I think I'm just going to bag the idea. It's such a long drive to Moapa anyway...

Have a wonderful summer, all....I'll be back in August!

Cheers,
Dawn

i was just waiting to see what day you guys settled on. the 23rd would work best for me. being a weekday trip you have little chance of getting any of the nbmc to show but it can still be a fun day in the dirt. have lunch in the shade of the canyon, let your folks hike to the dam. plus it's only supposed to be in the 80's. sounds like fun, but if you want to bag it. 8)
