I'm throwing together a (sort of) last minute thing for this Sat the 18th.
We'll meet at Whiskey Pete's gas station parking lot at 0830AM - go to Vanderilt - Continue to base of Spirit mountain - Anyone that "GEO-CHACHE'S" (AND "HIKE'S" there's "SUPPOSED TO BE(?))" a "CACHE" at the Spirit Mountain Radio Repeater site.. Don't hold me to everything I've put here because I have TO give this RUN an "EXPEDITIONARY" status BUT RATE THE TRAIL A MAXIMUM OF 2. This will be an ALL DAY trip so bring something to eat!!![/b]

Thanks for the run today. Even though we didn't make to everything, I had a blast.

SPECIAL(!) THANKS to all for the run on Sat. - And if the 3 DEER, could read THANKS to them also.

With "EVERYONE" chipping in with their special areas of expertise, it turned into a variety of area & knowledge not normally encountered. That part of the Mojave Road between Ivanpah & Fort Piaute was a special treat.

Great Day in the Dirts THANKS to Scuba Steve, Rubicon Bob, Wes, Bryan, Tony & my rider Saby.

Were you able to plan a club run out of it?

No Gary - No Club run - Just left it at Fun run AND HAD FUN!
Didn't get to Spirit on that one - Did the Mojave Rd From Ivanpah
to Ft Piaute and it got dark on us - will wait until you can join us for Spirit maybe and share your wealth of knowledge! Let us know when??

I just wondered if it was considered capable of being a "club run".

I know Steve's got the Alamo Mapping March 4-5 and I might be going on a scouting run with Brad and Rubicon Bob after the following week after Nextel Cup IIRC. Maybe we could sneak it in that weekend on a Saturday. Once racing starts, my Dad becomes a recluse  Depending on the when the March Club run is, we could shoot for a weekend then. Might be sort of a last minute deal.

Plus I'm still in the midst of my lift. Seems some parts didn't get sent that were supposed to  And why doesn't anyone carry STEEL degree shims!?!?!?

Brad would be a good person to ask about the "Steel Degree Shims."

As far as being a club run, what we did was a lot of sage brush and desert but Ft. Piaute and Vanderbilt was neat. I would only rate it at a 2 (max) and it wasn't too "brushy" - At least Wes didn't think so with his Grand.

My email is "diclb90145@earthlink.net" & my phone # is 363-5595 - Lets talk about the dates when we could get to Spirit. That really interests me.
And I also plan on going to Alamo on March 4 & 5th. if I can help with the trails with Scuba Steve.
