I would like to do one of my favorite fun runs : back door to Oatman. Meet at 9:00am and roll at 9:30, in Searchlight. Not stock friendly. 31" can come as long as they know they will hit. No pickups unless you want damage. We will eat in Oatman when we get there so if you are going to get hungry bring something to eat along the way. I have not pre-ran the trail so expect anything . Last time I would rate it between a 3 and 3.5. See you there :D :D 8) Rex & Shirley

Oh, you know how I love your runs, Rex!! And especially this one. I've got some work to do, so I better get started and hope that I can make it.

Sure wish I could go. That work thing always gets in the way.

Rauol - let me know how it goes cause everyone says its not full-size friendly.
Unless your taking something else besides the Red Beast.

I will be taking my ZJ, not quite ready to leave red paint marks on the canyon walls, next to Jim's yellow paint from his H1. My ZJ is all skid plated out from front to back. I think it should do OK.

Looks like I'll be able to make it...wow, it's been a long time since I've been in the dirt. Looking forward to it.

Rex,
Thank you, very much for putting together your annual backdoor run to Oatman.

My ZJ did just fine, a couple scrapes due to being lower than the other 5 rigs on trip. Thanks folks for coming out.

I believe my LWB would have done just fine without any damage, since the overhanging rock wall and boulders on the canyon seem to be gone. Just a couple tight turns to get around.
Thanks again... Rauol and Ian

p.s. The Indian(Navajo)Tacos @ Oatman were great.

I hope you can see the video my son took with my phone.

I agree, it was a great run. Sorry I couldn't stay in Oatman with you folks, but it was a good thing I got back. It was the wife's birthday and we went out for dinner. Thanks for a great day and great companionship. See you on the next run.

That obstacle doesn't look that bad. I have been on worse. Maybe one day I will venture out there and see.

Thanks Rex for leading an awesome run to Oatman...like always!!! It was nice being out in the TJ with everyone. A fun time was had by me and my son, Brenden. He can't wait to go again. Pics coming soon. I'll post here when I can get them uploaded.
