Taking out of state friends for scenic run up the cold creek area.
Meet at tribal smoke shop on 95 at 10am.
Last week we had a great day watching the horses and putting some dirt on the tires.
Bring apples or carrots for some photo ops.
Snacks and beverages. Plan on getting my friends back to hotel by 4pm.

Thanks for a great day, Beth!

Even though (or perhaps because of?) I had a near-death experience, and earned my cowbell.

You know, the story sounds quite good, so long as no one asks for details.... "I got attacked by a wild horse." Yep, sounds real good.

Sorry Mr. Newbie wasn't there!

I tried to join you. I was told ou were meeting up at the McDonalds on Durango and I was there about 0845. we waited and waited but didn't see anyone I accessed this website and saw that you were meeting at the Paiute smoke shop off the 95. I am a non smoker and had no idea where this was and the first hit had the smoke shop 95 in North Las Vegas. We drove there and I asked around and was told about the smoke shop way back where we started so we went back and was told we missed you all by 30 minutes. We went anyways hoping we could catch up. I drove up to the trail but didn't want to go by myself especially on a trail I've never been on and had my grandson with me. We made the best of the situation and still had a good time went sight seeing fed the man eating horses then went to falls by the mt Charleston lodge and went hiking. Beautiful weather. Beautiful day. We will meet soon!! Dan and Jeramiah (grandson)

Awwwww! What a bummer! :(

So sorry you missed us!

Glad you got out anyway.

The smoke shop is one of the standard places we meet. I guess we shouldn't assume everyone knows where it is. I know I am guilty of assuming.
