These 2 trails are just inside Arizona a few miles from the Big Bridge. I've never done them before so I'm looking forward to going. These are short in and out trails and there are others in the area that we can check out also if everyone wants to. If we have time I found a scenic shortcut through the hills above the Hoover Dam turnoff that goes in the backside of Boulder City.
The Black Joe Mine is supposed to be interesting but involves some hiking to get to the mine so I'll have to watch. There's a primitive campground at the end of Horsethief Canyon. I think people mostly hike this trail.
The trail head for Horsethief Canyon is the same one you use to hike down to Arizona Hot Springs for those who have done that hike.
Meet in Boulder City at the Rebel gas station, 1st station on the right as you enter BC.
Leave at 8:30 so we get back before dark
