Thursday is great but when Friday rolls around I'm ready to run and that's not to the local mall. So this year I'm going to start doing a run the day after Thanksgiving. Burro Wash is going to be the spot this time only because that's what popped into my mind :o . Other suggestions are welcome. Burro Wash is usually stock friendly but no guarantees. :D It's always been a little rough down in the wash but it'll be fun either way.

Head south on 93/95 and meet at the Shell station at the #56 ( wagon wheel exit ) just before rail road pass casino.

Meet at 8:00 leave at 8:30

Wouldn't you rather be Jeeping instead of shopping ?

Ordinarily, I would say 'yes!' and be ready to roll, but I'm running such a deficit in the hiking/hunting department, I am planning to be out on foot that day, rather than in a jeep. Well, in a jeep for awhile, then out on foot. Feet, in fact. I do not plan on hopping.

Thanks Bob, Shirley, Ed and Duncan for joining my grandson Cohen and myself on this run. I really had a good time as the road was washed out bad enough to make it alot of fun. Perfect weather and we rescued a bird ( Clarke's Grebe ) on top of it all. Thanks again for the fun day.

Scuba Steve and Cohen

Thanks for the run Steve.

Chaulk one up for the Rescue Rangers. Helping out a poor troubled bird. Unable to fly due to lacking some feathers and being dehydrated. We picked him up, wrapped him in a towel and gave him a ride back to the river to set him free.
