I would like to post the backdoor to Oatmen. Don't have a date yet. Eather first weekend or the second. This is my favorite run. Great trail with just enough obstacles to make it not stock friendly, but make it very interesting. So, mim of 33" tires. It is a long trail so bring lunch. However I am looking forward to Indian tacos, but thay have everything. Will post date the closer it becomes. Like I said, it is a great trail with a mine and lots of obstacles. Hope to see you there. Rex & Shirley :D

Looking forward to it Rex. It looks like the rest of this year is covered for runs. There's an October club run in the works also.

I want to say "I'll be there," but the last few times this has been run, something always happens to me so I can't go. Mebbe this time it'll work. This is a great run!

Is it LWB friendly? Will I wouldn't take a long wheel base rig on it. Jim took his H1 on it and he got a dent and left some yellow paint on a rock. And that is an H1 Hummer Just like the army uses. But , if you want to go that is your decision , then ok. I wouldn't. Rex

If Jim damaged his H1 then it might not be LWB friendly. I have been on rides when he took that thing down trails I didn't want take my ZJ. And don't think the Tundra would fit, but I have surprised a few people by taking it places that it shouldn't.
Thanks

NToDeep: I watched Mickey tear out his driveshaft on his full size pickup on just the type of waterfalls that we are going down. Cost him a lot of money. That is another reason I wouldn't recomend a long wheel base rig. Rex & Shirley

I have skids from the front to the back of the Transmission- rock sliders, 35's- so its built a bit, but more worried about the gas tank because I haven't gotten my skid done for that yet. Not sure I will go just because i don't want to trash my truck, but might go just to see the trail and if I have to turn back its all good - I can find my way back by myself and let you guys enjoy the trail.

Tom ( who is going to be back door ) and I decided to to the Oatmen run Dec 8th. Meet at
searchlight at 9:30 and roll at 10:00. Bring lunch to eat on the move because thay quit serving in Oatmen about 4:00. And it is a long trip and we want to get there before thay close . We are not going to pre-run the trail so it mite be more difficult from last year . So , it will be atleast a 3.5 and could be more so be warned. That is why I say 33's or bigger or you will get a lot of damage. Rex & Shirley :D :D :D :D

I'll mark the date and hope to make it. The TJ is ready and needs some trail time...so do I. Keeping my fingers crossed!!

I can't say for sure right now, but I will let you know before the date. I have the date marked and will be ready to go, but won't know for sure until the time gets closer.
