These two trails are off the Cottonwood Cove Rd. east of Searchlight. My intent is to put together a future club run and I'd like to check these out and refresh my memory as it's been years since I've been down there. Totally unofficial run and we can make it as long or short as we want. The temps should be perfect this weekend. Lots of mines in the area to look at too. Maybe take in a graveyard or two and stop at the old pet cemetery out in the desert on the way back :shock:
Meet at Railroad Pass at 9:00 and leave at 9:30 a.m.

Should be a stock friendly run. We'll stop in Searchlight first so you can gas up there if you don't get a chance before hand.

What a great way to honor those who serve our country - being out IN this great country, enjoying it with good friends. Thank you, Steve, for a memorable memorial weekend trip.

Too bad it had to end bit sooner for you. I hope the tire doesn't cost lots to repair/replace.

I had a great time too. That turned out to be a nice trail. We'll do it again in the fall. Made it home ok with air to spare. Sorry for the premature departure. :(

Thank you Steve! It was a fun and full day of exploring with the group in attendace. Thanks to Jim C for supplying Topo maps to the group. Happy Memorial Day weekend and thanks to all of our military service men & women.
