Anyone interested in running Potato on Saturday???

This could be a hard run. I have heard it is no longer stock friendly. Meet at the turnoff for Lovell Canyon @ 9AM. Roll out 9:30.

Who's up for a challenge.

OH NO :( , Saturday, I've been dying to do this trail, and my Dad just bought a 45,000 mile 2001 TJ X model with an A.R.B. front and Detroit rear diff, BUT we have family in until Saturday evening, dang it, have fun Bob, post up the next time you run this one, and please give us a trail report.
Thanks. :(

So far, it looks like there is no interest. Hopefully that will change.

I went through Potato a few weeks ago and you are correct...it is no longer stock friendly. The trail looks more like the wash was before the rains made the trail fun again, rocky. It is really fun again from the non stock point of view. I would love to go, but I already have plans with the family. I hope you get to go...you'll have lots of fun for sure.

I just ran it a month ago and Joe is right. If you like rugged, that's what it is now. Spotter recommended if you don't want damage! I "rubbed" a boulder that tore my right front fender out of a couple mounts. You can't tell to look at it but it's damaged none the less. (No Spotter, LOL). Luckily there's a recall for my fenders I haven't gone in for yet so it will be taken care of. :D

I know its been months ago, but how was the run? Its been over 4 years since I've run it from Lovell all the way through, and would like to run it again if a stock Rubicon can make it.

The trail was somewhat harder than I thought it would be. Some people might say that a stock wrangler can make it. Personally, I would recommend some lift , bigger tires and skid plates.

I did it in a Grand Cherokee WK, 31" tires, 2" lift, and I only remember one hard part where you had to crawl around one huge rock. No wheeling going on this weekend, would like to do something...
