Jane has a friend geting married in Vegas in a couple weeks. She thought she had to leave by Saturday but turns out she doesn't have to leave until Sunday. So that means she'll be here and looking to go jeeping on April the 7th.

That means it looks like another "Brad's Birthday on Bitter Springs" could happen. So, anyone interested?

So we'll meet at the Moapa Travel Plaza at 9am and roll at 9:30am. Bring lunch and cameras. Be prepared for anything weather-wise, we got snowed on last year. Trail never rates more then a 1.5 so it is stock friendly. See you there.

My Jeep is fresh out of surgery, (rear main oil seal, oil pan gasket, and motor mounts), so barring any unexpected leaks, she and I are in.
I'm headed to Boathouse Cove, to camp, afterward, any and all are invited to join me, for camping, or just a little more dirt under the tires, I went down to Boathouse in January, and it was pretty easy, just two short, rutted out switch backs, maybe not Subaru or full size friendly, but I'd try it in my two wheel drive ranger (as long as I remember the shovel  ). The switchbacks are uphill on the way in, so an easy downhill on the way out, if you just want to cruise to the water, and then head home,.
See you all Saturday :D

We were looking for you Scottie, sorry you missed it. Thanks to everyone that came out. As usual I had a great time and so did Jane & Ayla. Seeing the horse's at the spring was cool, although we should have been 10 minutes earlier and it really would have been cool. And seeing the herd of big horns was also great.

Brad,
Thanks for leading your birhday run. The kids were excited seeing the sheep, horses, some real jack rabbits and the giant rock bunny. My nephew said he's ready to get his cub scout nature badge since he learned so much while you spoke over the cb about all of the plant life.
Thanks again for a fun run.
Rauol, Ian & Mason
