Meet: Logandale Chevron 08:30
It has been several years since we last did this kind of fun run.
I have set up a GPS land navigation game in the Logandale Loop. For those that are geocachers it's a multicache. I plan on camping out there Fri night to get set up and the game will start at 0900 Saturday morning. The course should be about 26-30 miles and can have up to four different groups, all potentially going different directions and using 4 different CB channels ( I will monitor the 5th ch for problems). Each group will be given an envelope with a GPS coordinate to to start the search for 6 containers with numbered envelopes. Each envelope leads to the next. The group should take turns navigating for each search. The key is more about using your GPS and deciding the best approach instead of how fast you can get around the loop. There is up to 100 yrds to be walked. The goal is findind my camp by lunch, the last envelope has the location. Pot Luck, I will have a grill set up to burn your favorite carcass on.

If you wish to camp (primitive) that Friday, the only advantage you will have is knowing the last of 8 points. Undecided if I will camp Sat night. I may try some upland hunting on the other side of morman mesa if I have spare time.

Edited 20 Sep.

Unfortunately, Stoney's Pad is a day use area only. No camping.

I'm going to have to miss this one. Setting up at the Sand's Convention Center for the Gaming Show. :( :( :(

I have a friend in town that weekend and the 1st is the only day I can meet up with him.
As a geocacher, I'm interested. But gotta pass based on the day!

You're right Steve. I did the run out behind Sunrise Mtn. Kodachrome and Lava Butte. Justin is talking about something similar out in Logandale.

With slight changes and some long term containers this can be put in place as a permenent multicache for geocaching.

Solution :!: Go over to our facebook page and vote for the weekend to have the run. I have listed the ones I am available. The one with the most clicks wins!
