If I have D.D. fixed is anyone interested?



Ok, D.D. has new springs and I've driven on them for a couple days and just re-checked everything and it looks like a go for my Bitter Springs Birthday Run.
Date: Saturday April 9th
Trail: Bitter Springs BLM Back Country Byway
Meet At: Moapa Travel Plaza @ Valley of Fire State park exit off of I15
Time: Meet @ 08:30am and roll @ 09:00am
Trail rating: Should be no more then a 1.5 so stock friendly

Bring lunch as we'll be eating on the trail and lots of water as it'll probably be warm. Bring your camera as we should start getting some wildflower action. I'll have a rider that's never been out there before so I'll be hitting all the usual stops and giving my usual narrative (turn down your cb if you like I'll understand )

Brad, long time no wheel. Wherever you are willing to lead and discuss on the CB, Paula and I will follow. Any thoughts on doing some of the lesser used roads/trails in Mojave? We always loved the stories of you, Dickie and your Dad exploring in that area.

But, as always, anywhere we can get a bit dusty would be great.

This is all dependant of course on my getting the new springs I ordered for D.D. and having them installed by then. Crossing my fingers as things have not been going smoothly for me recently.

Let me know if you need help with the springs. I have done some spring work before (Duntov) and am always willing to help a fellow wheeler out, if needed.

hiya jeepy is in the shop too should be drive able Friday!! got all the leaks fixed, new front locker, bumper, new front seals, radiator, trans gasket, main rear seal, valve cover gasket, and i think a few other things. has been out of the dirt for little over a year. we all are looking forward to coming out and playing... but not for your birthday sorry cant make it.
