OK, it's time again for the annual "Go Toppless Day" Mormon Well Road clean-up! May 14th 2011. We'll meet at the Cold Creek Ranger Station at 8:00 am and leave at 8:30. Lunch will be at the top of the pass. Many opt to camp overnight.
T-Shirts can be orderd at www.allthingsjeep.com.

The club officially adopted the trail a few years ago, and the turnout has always been great. Hope to repeat the success!

To get to Cold Creek: Starting at US 95 at the Rainbow Curve, take US 95 North about 20 miles. Turn right onto Corn Creek Road. The sign will say "Desert National Wildlife Preserve". The station is another 5 miles East.

Thanks,
Tom.

I might attend this run, but if not keep an eye out for a Nissan wheel that I lost out there about a week ago. It bounced off my roof basket about 5-10 miles west of US93 on the trail. Might be a small reward if found!

Couple of slight changes: Related to a Request from the Fish and Wildlife people and to a vote by the members at the last club meeting and lack of trash on Mormon Well Road, we will be cleaning up Gass Peak Road for this year only. New territory and scenery. Should be fun! The other change is that for personal reasons I wll be unable to camp over night after the run. Please don't let that detour the rest of you campers!
Hope to see a lot of people this Saturday!

Due to the change in clean-up area - are we still going up to the campground/picnic area? Looks like the Gass Peak rd dead ends and you have to go out the way you came in. Chris
