Yeah thats the problem - Want ARB air locker but its about twice the cost and since the truck is not a rock crawler i was thinking a true LSD would be fine. It has LSD from the factory but it uses the brake to stop the spinning tire and apply power to the other wheel that should have traction. Never had a problem but miss the sure footed traction that a locker provides.

I am a maybe- depends if I can find someone to cover my on-call for the day and I figure Titus is no problem and if I get stuck on Echo from being too long I can just turn around and call it a day.

This ended up being a fun day trip. We had 7 rigs and over 15 people for this. N2Deep made it for this run, which was totally awesome. He made it through Echo Canyon in his full size Tundra and it didn't hiccup at all. The waterfall was a little challenging for my stock Xterra, but nothing that wasn't doable. Coming from East to West would be the ideal way for a stock vehicle to make it through no problem. Maybe next time there will be a few more "backroaders" !?!

Thanks for a great day on the Dirt - its been awhile since I had a vehicle that was capable of traveling off the pavement. The Tundra impressed me - no tire slip up the waterfall and climbed right up w/o a locker.
Long day that started at 4:30am for me and I just got home at 10:15pm
Next trip will be an over-nighter for me.

That is a super long day, but that's what makes you a trooper. An overnighter would have been way cool. There is a overnigther in your neck of the woods at the end of next month in Parashant. I will get more details, but would you be interested in going?

Yeah let me know for sure - I am planning on camping in Death Valley on 2/11 so as long as my schedule permits we will be there.

Gave the truck a bath today and I got a nice rock chip on the passenger door along with a few good scratches to the rock sliders.
