The pictures are nice, but I am also looking forward to seeing the videos Larry took. Are they going to show up at the moabjeeper magazine website, or somewhere else?

Larry will be in Vegas all week for business. I'm sure he will work on editing the video as soon as he gets back home. As soon as he gets it all done, he will send me a link and I'll post it so everyone can see.

It was a fun time with nearly 40 vehicles when we met up with the early group. It was pretty awesome seeing the line of vehicles stretched out along the trail. There wasn't any major damage from what I can tell...a few minor scrapes or rock rash. One rig was close to flopping it on the side while getting pulled out of the S-Curve, but close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades from what I've been told. Al had two tires hanging in the air. But all is good and he made it out unharmed.

We certainly don't like to see anyone damage their vehicles, but it can't always be controlled. Sometimes things happen and quickly just like the one post on the forums talked about.

It was a shame the Logandale part got rained out at the end of the Bowl/Matterhorn, but probably for a good reason. There will always be another day. Thanks to all who attended.

Joe,

The other half of the run didn't get rained out, two of us showed up and met three more that were there waiting for us.

We ran Rock Bottom and the out threw the S turn. The five of us had a blast.

It was dry and clear when we got there.

Should have brought the camera crew, they would have gotten some really great film.

I would have loved to have gone and I'm sure Larry and his wife would have, too. Only problem was getting there. The only seat open was a ride back into Vegas. I'm glad you guys had a great time, and sorry I missed out. Maybe next time we'll go straight there, then Larry can drive a car to the trailhead... :P Live and learn I guess.

Thanks for update. I hope someone at least got some good pictures to share...

Joe,

Sorry I had to get back to Vegas, now I feel bad that Larry his wife and you were not able to move on to the harder trails...
Hope to wheel with you guys again.

Glen
