Nevada Backroaders

UPDATE:

Meeting at the Albertsons on E. Lake Mead Blvd (north one) and N. Hollywood Blvd., on the SE corner of that intersection. I think its an Albertsons anyway.

Meeting @ 9am roll at 9:30am

In case we go into Lake Mead National Recreation area, there is a fee. I may take a trail that won't be taking us into the area at all, but be prepared just in case.

Destination is Anniversary Mine and The Narrows. To get to The Narrows there is some rock crawling to get there. So I will say that this isn't really stock friendly. But if you want a challenge, feel free to join us.

It won't be a super long day, but there is a lot of trail to cover so I'll be keeping it moving. We will break for a quick bite to eat sometime during the day so plan accordingly.

I'm happy to see a few peeps are going to make it. I'd go by myself if I had to, but it's always nice to have a few fellow off-roaders along.

That was a fun little trip...I had a great time and since I forgot my CB (doh!!) you all probably had even more fun talking about me...

Thanks to all who showed up to enjoy the beautiful day. I know Dick (my manager) really had a great time. I don't know if I converted him to wanting a Jeep, but he had a great time none-the-less. And so did I. May do that again sometime, but find a different route in than I did. But finding the trail was part of the fun, too.
