I noticed theres no fireworks run this year , just wondering if theres gonna be. In the past JC has led one, but I haven't seen or heard a word from him on the board lately. :?

I was wondering the same thing... This year, 104.3 The Coyote, is going to simulcast the coreographed music live as they do the fireworks show on the strip... It might be fun to see from a high place like last year... I don't know if we could make it ,, but I'll try if it comes together.. Phil

This is the first I've heard of fireworks on the Strip. Has anyone else heard it??? If so, we may have to do a run.

It's not the strip, it's all the Station Casinos properties that are all going to be simultaneously lighting them off.
See this link for what's going on around the valley... http://www.kvbc.com/Global/story.asp?S=8588353

We'll be at the dry lake south of the Railroad Pass Lighting some of our own.

From what I have been able to find out, there is no more Red, White & Boom. That use to be the big fireworks show. Stations are having similtaneous fireworks from all their properties. From our normal vantage point, we should be able to see some of them. After work tomorrow, I will see if we can still get to the trail.

Well...there is good news and bad news about the possible run. First the good news. I went by the trail and it appears to be open. :D The bad news is that on the way to work today, Rubi had a breakdown. I hope that I can get it fixed tommorrow morning. If not, is someone else willing to lead??? Or maybe have 2 open seats available???

If I can get it fixed, I will post up something.

Bob...

We haven't been on a fireworks run for a couple of years and would love to go. We took the backseat out of the Jeep, but if you need it, the back seat of the pickup is open depending on the trail. 8)

Since we don't know where the trail is we can't lead it. But we are certianly interested in going.

If someone could provide good enough directions - I even give leading it a go. :?

Lets hope RB can get his jeep fixed :D

Like I said ...hopefully I can get Rubi fixed. I think it is just a bad sensor. The trail is a closely guarded secret.

Ok I guess I have to lead since I started this thread. I'm gonna need some help as I really don't know where I'm going . I have 3 seats available just need some directions . I'm guessing we should meet at Chevron, Blue Diamond and Rainbow at 7 roll at 7 30 . :opefully this all makes sense as I'm posting from my Blackberry. E mail me if anything changes as I won't be near a pc today but will receive E mails on my mobile device. See you tonight !!!!

Bob asked me to post this as he is having Ruby looked at. The run is on, meet up at the McDonalds's/Cheveron on Blue Diamond/Rainbow at 7:15 and roll at 7:30. Chris
