This is a farewell fun run for Tigger (Brian & Brenda).

Meeting at Railroad Pass Casino at 08:30 and roll at 09:00

This run rates around 1.5 for most of the trail until you get to the last wash then its about 100 feet of 3.0 . If you are stock and want to go you can try the drop into the wash if you like or park and ride the last 1/4 mile. No shame in protecting your ride. I will have a back seat.

We will be at the Colorado River for lunch and swimming for those who want to get wet. The water is always nice and cool below the damn.

Please keep your rigs out of the water as there is a steep drop off and Jeeps don't float.
Right Andy?

Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it, but I'm sure I'll enjoy reading all about it.

How difficult is it compared to Rocky Gap Road? I took a stock 2004 4Runner up on the eastern portion to the top/trailhead last summer.

The "top":

I have two vehicles: a 1993 LandCruiser Wagon (stock, w/lockers), and a 1985 4Runner with 33"s and some other mods. Is the 'Cruiser enough??

It is tougher than the East side of Rocky but not as hard as the West side.

I may be overrating the hard part by .5 being cautious. I haven't been there in 1 1/2 years. I hit my skid plates last time but that was my fault. Good spotting in most cases will get anyone through this one. However, Mike parked his stock fullsize Ram at the beginning of the wash to avoid damage due to clearance.

Here are some Pictures taken by Phil the last time I was on this trail.

I think I may have found maps on the internets. Looks like 702FJCrew likes to post the local trails on google maps.

Burrow Wash Trail (Google Maps)

Map from Railroad Pass Casino to "trail head" in above map.

Do these look correct?

I really hate working on Sat. it really cuts in to my dirt time. On the up side I'm on vacation for a week as soon as Sat. is done. I have no plans so maybe some dirt time next week> :D

Right now, I plan on coming.

It's raining outside right now, a real downpour. I wonder what these weather conditions will do to the trail.... chance of rain tomorrow, too.

Really, please keep your rigs out of the water. There is, I would estimate to be about a 70 Ft drop off that I almost lost Sheila's  Jeep in.
