Change of Plans!!!

It has come to my attention that the trail planned is not open. Until I am able to find out for sure, we will not be doing the previously said trail. I do not want to run a trail that could get us in trouble or give the club a bad name. It's the responsible thing to do. Thanks for your understanding in this touchy matter.

The new trail is going to be Cottonwood Valley Road to Goodsprings then the backside of Mt. Potosi. Everything is easy to rocky with no big obstacles just a lot of scenery and mines to explore. Stock vehicles welcome.

We will meet at 7 am at the Chevron/McDonald's on SR 160 (Blue Diamond) and Rainbow on the SW side of the street. We will roll at 7:30 am. The trail to Goodsprings won't take long for those who want to get out for a short time. I still think we'll be off the trail by 1 or so.

I hope to see you there!!!

Joe

Hi all -
Hmm, it is NFL Draft weekend and all. But anybody that's anybody will be taken on Day 1 in rounds 1 and 2. I do have sirius, so should be able to listen to the drivle of information between each 30 sec. pick.....I shall see about Sunday's run.
I'll call you Jodi if I am "not" making the run.
Issak

I used my Garmin Mapsource and if you go west on Flamingo to I-15, then head south to the Blue Diamond exit and then west to the meeting place, it is a little over 15 miles. I would say early Sunday morning traffic would be rather light...I'd guess about no more than 30-40 minutes. Depending how fast you drive, too.

Thanks!!! I had a great time and it was nice meeting new people today. Brian and his KJ, Kevin and Wanda with their TJ, Charlie and his Xterra, and the regulars, Jodi, Al, Marla and Issak. It was a fun day.

Here are what pics I took of today's fun run...click the pic
