Sunday
April 13th.
Meet 0800 at the Moapa Indian fireworks store exit 75.
Roll at 0830
CB Ch. 4
Jamie

PS This is a great trail for those looking for a challenge. Rated a 4 this trail will test your rig. The entrance to the trail is a V crack that you tip toe through. From there you crawl some sand stone obsticles along the way until you end up in a canyon with 4 ways out. The easiest is rated a 2 or 3 the hardest put mosts on there roof! As the trail comes to an end you have two ways to exit the trail: the S turn near the end of the trail where your powersteering, gearing and brake control abilities get a major workout or the waterfall which is pretty steep flat rock wall decent. After the trail have some fun at the sand dunes. Trail will take about half the day with a large group so bring snacks and plenty of water. (copied fromwww. VV4W.org web site)

Yea pretty much there may be a couple of places you have to negotiate. If your lifted you should make the go arounds. Be aware damage may occur to body panels. Not likely but you never know.

There is a go around for the V-crack but thats it. Everything else you have to do.
I made it through there with no damage in my ZJ 4.5 lift and rear locker on 32's.

Also remember the Fair is in Logandale this weekend so you might hit some traffic coming into Logandale.

And NHRA Drag Racing at the Speedway. Might be better to meet at exit 75's Indian Reservation store. Just a thought. Don't know how busy the Petro/Iron Skillet is going to be. :?

Rubicon Rob is going to be in town and I think he said he's going, too. Sweet!!! Moapa Indian store at the Valley of Fire exit 75...I'll be there. Living where I'm at now means I won't have so far to drive... :P Cool 8)

Thanks for leading a fun...and yet interesting run, Jamie. I really enjoyed Rock Bottom. I'd do that again. The Sh it ter was fun, too. I just wish my locker didn't leak, but my Jeep did well open/open.

Jodi did great in her Jeep. She's really learning how to drive that thing. Awesome job, Jodi.

Issak did rather well in his Jeep, too. A little karnage with the factory step getting tore off. He was doing some really tough trail in his nearly stock Jeep. I'm sure it was a learning experience for him, too.

Rob...what can I say? It was bound to happen sooner or later. I wish is was later, but you took it well. The damage is really minimal and could have been so much worse if you didn't have those tube fenders and roll bars. I think those saved you from having worse damage.

We'll all have to wait to see the pics. I won't say anything more than that until they get posted.

All in all it was a great day. Lots of fun and a big learning experience had by all.
