Nevada Backroaders

this is kind of last minute but it just got put together. i've got several folks who've never been on the blm approved trails out behind sunrise/frenchman's mountain so that's where we're going. i run it as a kind of loop thing running south on lava butte, then north on rainbow garden to middle wash which connects to kodacrome and then we go south on kodacrome ending up on hollywood blvd near the water treatment plant. the trail rating is maybe a 1.5 at the most, nothing real challenging but it still makes for a day in the dirt which is better then a day at work. so we'll meet at the shell station on lake mead east of nellis near hollywood at 0830 and roll by 0900. this is on the northeast side of town and not the lake mead that runs east out of henderson. bring lunch but we should be done by 2 or 3 pm at the latest. any questions or if you can't find us give me a call at 497-9154.

Re-located from my beloved Mojave to Texas. Where did all the mountains go???

Dori and I will be there. We play out there alot, as it is really close to me, but always fun to go as a group.
