What's a good trail for a night run in close proximity of Vegas? Anyone up for a run on Wednesday Night of this coming week?

We have done Wheeler pass and Bitter Springs as night runs in the past. Mormon well may be another choice. They are not too challenging and it's difficult to get lost on those trails, good things for night runs.

There are a lot of trails in the Nelson area south of Bouder City that I've done at night and they are close by. You can even make it to the lake on some of them. Are you looking for hard, moderate, or easy trails?

Wow, my 700th post!! A milestone of sorts I guess.

Moderate Joe, I got 232 miles of trail to do after that to get home and it's my DD.

90%+ of the trails in the Nelson area are easy to moderate. Electric Ave (West Powerline Road) would make a nice night run if ran from the lake to the Knob Hill area. It may take about 4-5 hours round trip I'm guessing. It would be awesome on a full moonlit night.

A few of us did a night run down in that area, met at 1930 hours and got home around 2330 hours. Nothing hard, but it was a fun night out with fellow Jeepers.
