What level? I would like to go. I still have the horrible noise when I turn sharp, maybe someone could drive my jeep and tell me what they think?

Where is the cheveron?

Thanks

Marla

IIRC your Jeep is fairly stock? I've taken stock Wrangler's through there before. Stock Cherokee's too. I would rate it a 2.5 in the worst part, but it is still not too bad. Just a few rock outcroppings to contend with. If you take the wash, it would be rated maybe a 3.5. Need clearance for them there rocks. :P

The Chevron/McDonalds is on Blue Diamond (SR 160 to Pahrump) as you are heading west and the crossroad is Rainbow. On the SW corner of that intersection is the meeting place. You can gas up there and grab some breakfast if you'd like. The run is about 4-5 hours long with a short group and minimum stops.

So if you'd like to join us, you are more than welcome to come along. We'll spot you through so you can have a nice experience. Oh, and this trial ends in Red Rock. See ya tomorrow.

I'll be there!!!

I've never seen your Jeep, but I did it it stock, with the Sahara side steps, and, yes, to my shame, mudflaps.

but hey, I made it through with no problems. it looked daunting at first, but pick, follow your spotter, and let the engine do the work.

Thanks Marla, Rob, and Keith for coming out today and making this a fun run.

Hey Marla, you did really well. You'll be a pro in no time!! Like Rob said, if you can learn to get through mostly anything when stock, it will make you a much better wheeler when you get lifted and locked if you go that route. Just never stop trying and don't hesitate to ask for a spot or help. You can do it. Great job!!! :D

Here's a pic of you in the rock garden. Sorry it wasn't one that you were articulating on, but I was too busy spotting and cannot seem to spot and take pictures at the same time. :P

The trail has gotten beaten down quite a bit since the wash out, but for a long wheelbase vehilce, some turning issues in the rock garden and maybe the switchbacks on the Red Rock side may be a little tight. With a six inch lift, you would most likely have the clearance, but you've gone places I thought your truck would have a harder time doing before without any problems... :P

Anyone who has done Potato and had a full size rig tag along or you were driving one, want to chime in???

Sounds pretty sweet there Mike. I can't wait to see some pics of your beast all done. Better yet, when it is done, let's plan a run to where we can meet in the middle somewhere.
