Is Jodi going? I know we have a run going through the Bowl Trail on Saturday, the 23rd. Two days of wheelin'? I'm already commited to the 23rd's run. I'll see where I'm at and I'll try to make this one too. Never did get far on Rock Bottom, before Al broke a U-bolt on his front suspension and we headed back to town so he can call for a tow.

Not sure if she is going or not. I have a buddy coming in from OH that weekend. He wants to do some wheeling.

hey jamie, you may want to rate this trail. if people know what to expect they may respond to the post and show up to wheel. just saying "i'm running rockbottom, anyone wanna go?" doesn't give people a lot of idea as to what type of trail and what to expect. just my 2 cents worth. 8)

Good point, Brad. I don't know what the rest of the trail looks like, but it can be really difficult or moderately difficult depending on the lines taken. I've heard that there are go arounds, too, but not 100% sure. I do know that the entrance to the trail looks like this...

But...there is a go around and you can take it instead...I did

I pulled this from another post from January that Jamie posted in. I beleive this is how VV4W rated the trail...

Good idea here ya go.

This is a great trail for those looking for a challenge. Rated a 4 this trail will test your rig. The entrance to the trail is a V crack that you tip toe through. From there you crawl some sand stone obsticles along the way until you end up in a canyon with 4 ways out. The easiest is rated a 2 or 3 the hardest put mosts on there roof! As the trail comes to an end you have two ways to exit the trail: the S turn near the end of the trail where your powersteering, gearing and brake control abilities get a major workout or the waterfall which is pretty steep flat rock wall decent. After the trail have some fun at the sand dunes. Trail will take about half the day with a large group so bring snacks and plenty of water.

I will be going to the Bowl run on the 23rd, as well. I would like another shot at Rockbottom, so I will probably make it, Jaime.

Nice picture, Joe. Who could that be? :D

There is a go around for the first part but after that your in for the long haul. I did this trail at Hump and Bump but took the go around for the first part - since I don't have a front locker. Other than that its about a 3 - 3.5 the rest of the way, with the hardest part being the exit- just due to the turn and the last drop off.
If ya got a locker and 3-4 lift you should be fine.

I plan on going but I also want to do the Bowl trail on the 23rd too - so we will see how gas money is that weekend.

If ya aint breking something you aint wheeling it hard enough. No seriously you would be fine. I may be up for another run later on. I enjoy the Logandale area but don't find enough time or money to enjoy it the way I would like too.
