Thanks Bob for such a fun run!!! It's been a while since I've been on anything new and it was a joy to be exploring that trail. It was great seeing all who showed up.

Duntov, you made a wise decision on heading back. I don't believe in tearing up my rig and I would never push anyone to tear up theirs. Sorry it got so rough that you couldn't continue. I'm sure we will be doing something really soon that won't be so rough.

Here is the link to my pics...just click the pic :D

The last part of the trip was the 2nd half of the 13mi. Loop trail. The hard part of the trip was a shortcut from the Logandale trail system to the Bowl/Matterhorn trails. I don't know if there is a name for it.

FYI. We did cross private property, which is a nono. But I cleared it through BLM first and was given the OK. Plus as a VV4W member, the VV4W club has been given permission from the owner to do so. Without proper permission, there is NO trail that is there. For Backroader purposes, this was a "once in a lifetime" trip.

Post subject:  Eleven Were Chosen

Hi all -
I've uploaded 11 of the picutres I've taken.
The last one, it's NOT True. It was edited by the camera operator...I tell you it is some kind of political smear campaign!
View them here:
http://greyhawkonline.com/nvbkrd/2008.02.23/
101 - Our first encounter with dirt, having to go around the gate.
102 - Brian in his Rubi showing off his awesome sway bar articulation.
103 - The Green Cherokee has some interesting articulation as well
104 - This is Duntuv (iirc) - his articulation isn't so smooth, but air shots are always cool!
105 - Brian used the Bearded Dragon as Navigator. Good thing he has detacthable sway bars.
106 - Rex and Shirley coming down one of the waterfalls. This is my proof picture that they don't have a brown Chihuahua with them. If you see Shirley with one, she stole mine!
107 - Issak coming down one of the waterfalls. AFrog said I was noisy. hmmpphffff.
108 - After the hard part - you get to see the beautiful red rocks. How this hasn't been settled yet by Master Planned Communties is beyond me, but I'm glad.
109 - over the ridge we go, ever closer to the roar of MX and ATV's
110 - the green Cherokee makes it up the hill
111 - this is the one that Rex took. I think he managed to edit this picture while still inside the camera. Brian and I attempted to fix my attenna - so I was a little late going up the hill. Backwards, forwards, no matter what, I still got stuck. Luckily Brian's rig made it up the hill, pulling my weight!

I have plenty more pictures, just not the time to edit them. I have pictures for the red Cherokee and will e-mail them out. If you have a particular picture let me know and I'll see what I have.

Good fun run, Dusty and I enjoyed it. Thanks for helping out with doggysitting Shirley.
Issak

Everyone,

After a brief misplacement of the camera, I have my pictures uploaded for your viewing pleasure. If anyone wants copies, please let me know. For those that have asked, they've been sent.

If I can get some help putting names to Jeeps, that would be appreciated too!

Check them out here....Image
