While most people went to play in the slurpee a few of us stayed dry down below on Matterhorn. Here are some videos from the trip.

Phil, you've created a monster here!
I'll upload pix soon.

Patience Roland. :P I hadn't finished uploading all the pix. Roland just had to air down a bit more and made it up with little problems. He did make it adventurous though.

:D Oh My !! Oh My !! Great vids guys !! They say that mimicry is the fondest form of flatery... I see that you have found the secret !! It's really so easy and these cameras do all the work.. I loved the way the 'clasical' music seemed to sync to the terrain Steve... It almost made the Matterhorn trail seem easy !! LOL Joe , all you have to do is kind of 'narrate' what's going on, and throw in a few extra thoughts of the moment and you'll have some real "Moab Jeeper" vid's to submit.. I loved 'em all !!!! Keep 'em comin' !!! Phil

How did I miss this run? Looks like fun. I really enjoy the Matterhorn. Who's ready to run rockbottom with me? Any takers?

Thanks Phil, yeah the vids are all because of you. You sparked the flame last week. I'm going to try velcroing my camera to the dash for more stable shots next time.
As for no notice for this run, we didn't want to conflict with Mac's snow run at all. It was just a few of us from the previous weeks run that decided to stay warm instead :D

Rock Bottom 3 - 1 Locker Required 3 Hours Logandale, NV
This is a great trail for those looking for a challenge. Rated a 4 this trail will test your rig. The entrance to the trail is a V crack that you tip toe through. From there you crawl some sand stone obsticles along the way until you end up in a canyon with 4 ways out. The easiest is rated a 2 or 3 the hardest put mosts on there roof! As the trail comes to an end you have two ways to exit the trail: the S turn near the end of the trail where your powersteering, gearing and brake control abilities get a major workout or the waterfall which is pretty steep flat rock wall decent. After the trail have some fun at the sand dunes. Trail will take about half the day with a large group so bring snacks and plenty of water.

I pulled this from vegas valley web site. Not sure you should try this one without at least one locker. I don't have any date set yet just looking for takers.

Jamie

Oh well...sounds like a lot of fun from the description, but lockers are a bit down the road for me yet. :(

I'd hate to be the one on my roof

I made the first obstacle on Rock Bottom last time until I broke a U-Bolt. I'm all fixed and am ready to give it another shot. Give me some notice and I will go.

Sun Jan 20 or Sat Feb 24? Would work for me. My days off may be changing in the near future though.
