Come on up to Ruth, we have about 8 to 12 inches on the ground at this time. It is snowing alittle right know.

I’m in Iowa now playing in the snow with a rental Jeep Commander while visiting my daughters. Be home (Las Vegas) Monday.
I would love to go play in the snow Saturday with my Tracker but I am a bit concerned about its ground clearance, might get stuck a lot. If we didn’t got to far I guess I could take the suburban but that 454 and 4.10:1 gears drinks some fuel.

Mt Charleston maybe? If I wasn’t flying back out Sunday I would say lets head to somewhere between Cedar City and Brian head. Might try to plan a weekend up there later this winter.

Even though it means taking the Christmas lights off the Jeep and putting the top up, I'd be happy to get into some snow. The 6th works for me, and even the 5th works if we don't stray too far since I'll be on-call.

If I didn't see from your other post you have a Wrangler, I'd be asking if you were that Cherokee that passed me every night for the last 2 weeks with Christmas lights all over the roof.

Hey Mac, is there snow up there? I'll consider it. My brother will be in town and I was thinking of doing logandale one day.

Mormon is in the Desert Wildlife area just north of town (between the Lee Canyon and Kyle Canyon turnoffs). If you take 95 north towards Indian Springs, you will see a sign for Corn Creek Rd. on the right. Take that road to the Ranger station. After leaving the Ranger station, follow the road and you will go over Mormon Pass. Eventually, you will make it to Hwy 93.

This is not a club run just a day in the wilderness
I was asked by email...is this a Vegas 4 Wheelers run <--nope
or NV BackRoaders run <-------nope..

FUN RUN..for any 4x4 in the need of snow.
(no guarantee we will find snow)

Jan 5th
leaving Petro 8am (meet at 7:15 am for breakfast)
Mormon wells rd from Highway 93 <----were going into the trail backwards from when we went there in Nov.

looking for Snow!

Happy New YR!

Mac

Hmmmm...if there is snow, then there is a snow ball fight. That could be fun. This is typically an easy, easy run - so if there is snow - things will be interesting.

I'm in. I hope there is snow! If, not - well - it is still quite scenic.

Snow would be cool. 8) I haven't wheeled in snow for many years. And if there's no snow, we'll still have fun. Chris and I will be there. John
