So is the plan to go in from 93 and then backtrack out to 93? Why not go all the way through to 95?

See everyone Sat. and assuming channel 4

Are we still going on Sat Morning?
Meeting at Petro at 7:15 AM right?
I have done this run before, but it has been a long time. Back then we went in at Corn Creek road and over thru hidden forest / mormon wells, then back via 93...Long run. I take it we are just going up on the mormon wells side to frolick in the snow. CORRECT?
Looking forward to seeing you guys and gals again.
If someone will call me and let me know...My cell phone is 702-523-3621.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

The last time I talked to Mac the plan was to the trail from 93 (backwards). We will get to the snow quicker, if there is any. Right now the plan is to return back to 93. But depending on road and weather conditions, some may choose to continue over to 95. Don't forget, if there is considerable amount os snow, we may not be able to make it up to the campground at the top.

I was thinking about going to Wheeler tomorrow.
I would figure that there should be snow at the pass... it's higher than Mormon Wells Rd isnt it?

I think the NWS is predicting 100% chance of snow with winds up to 50 mph for that area.

Hi all -
I had asked my father, Robin Haywood (in case some of you know him, he was pres. of Vegas Valley '94, and we founded Nevada State 4x4 club in '98), about MWR over Thanksgiving but he thought it would be a bit much for my stock TJ sport (only mod is 31" tires) during the heavy snow - that and with just two of us, it might be bit difficult. It's been about 7 years since I've been there - some easy parts in the summer, but lots of fun in the snow and rain!
But I'll be at Petro at 715am. I still haven't installed my CB radio - still don't know how - so I can't ask for help, but I've got a Blue '03 TJ covered in Carolina Panthers logo's.
Not that it matters much, but my mobile number is 5-91---8-5--7-4 - with none of the dashes of course.
Be Well. Be Roading Well.
Issak

I've got a spare radio that you can borrow for the day.

I really wanted to go on this.
Unfortunately I didn’t get everything done I needed to this week and since I’m leaving for Milwaukee Sunday, I need to finish up my work tasks tomorrow before I can play.
Maybe if I get done early enough (yeah right) I will buz up Mt Charleston for a quick romp in the snow.

Have fun everyone.
Mike

Have fun guys and gals.

Just got off Charleston where we got about 15" at the top before I left and it was still coming down strong.

Seems like a real "wet" storm, slushy snow below 6000'. Hopefully you guys get some at the top.
