Ok everyone, Andy is leaving out of the desert to come home on the 2nd of Oct. I just wanted to get some insight on what you guys thought about for doing a fun run in the morning and his BBQ at 2 or 3 on that day. Give me your thoughts and I will let you know more details.

EVERYTHING WILL BE CHANGED TO THE 27TH DUE TO THE CLUB RUN!!!!

Hmmm, seems to be the same day as the Club Run, which was posted first.

Sorry about that Bob...I just may have to move in to the next weekend. I'm trying to keep it on a Saturday.

As for the trail, I would like to have us run Potato in the morning. Andy loves that trail and I know he would want to hit up that trail. Let me know what ya'lls thoughts are.

Yeah, it looks like it will be on the 27th. Actually gives me some more time to plan and all.

I really hope you can make this one Craig. Bring the kids along too.

i have been banned by the IS department at work from backroader's site.

yep, 2 fun runs on the same day. it happens sometimes. since the bitter springs run is a pre-run for hump & bump, and since h&b is the first weekend in november, and since gary has been out of town, and since i have been out of town, and the 20th is an official club run, we have no choice but to run it on the 27th. but you get to choose which run you wish to make, bitter springs is fairly easy and stock/newbie friendly while potato ridge may be a little more then a newbie in a stock vehicle wants to try. i rate bitter springs a 1/1.5 level trail at most while potato ridge rates a hard 2.5 and may be a level 3 after the recent rains. i apologize to andy & shelia and in no way want to draw people away from andy's party run but as we are all adults we can choose whice run we want to make and which one we don't.

Let me start by saying that Fun runs are not a Club sactioned event. There is no hard rule saying that there can be only one fun run at a time. But, it is "common courtesy" to not plan another run the same day that someone else has already scheduled a run. As Brad has said, do to H&B being the first weekend on Nov. and scheduling conflicts, there is no other opportunity to do the prerun at any other time but next weekend. While we are all adults, we are able to make our own choices. For those that do go on the Bitter Springs trip, I know that they will be back in town and still be able to make Andy's BBQ.
