Since I'm not making the trek up to Ely for the Club Run, is there anyone left here in Vegas that would like to do a run, go to the lake, or ??? on Saturday morning?? I was thinking of heading down to Searchlight to go to my swimming spot, but we wouldn't have to go there. I haven't been there for nearly two years. Ah, maybe I'll just stay at home and drink beer all day until I pass out. ImageAnd then after that I'll hit the Bacardi or the Black Velvet until I become sober again....Image

Let me see. Go 4 wheeling or be here for my Moms 75th birthday. I'm supposed to take her to dinner Saturday night. Joe do you think she would mind if I just blew that off and went wheelin or to the lake?
Well after much debate and my wife beating me with a hammer for even thinking this, I have decided to stay here and Party with my Mom.
P.S. You can hardly see the hammer marks.

That was a fun run Mac. Thanks for coming. The lake water was nice and clear and very refreshing to say the least. I went to a SCUBA store and bought a new mask, snorkel, fins, and boots to snorkel around the coves. I missed doing that today.

Going up Electric Ave was a nice change of pace, too. It's funny how the landscape changes when you do a trail in the opposite direction that you've done it before. Really cool 8)

Like always, the ride was fun and the company the best. It was great wheelin' with you again Mac. I hope now that you have the weekends off, you'll be able to go more often. You know you need to keep those Jeeps exercised. Going too long in between runs, one tends to forget how the darn thing works.

Why is Lake Mojave full and Lake Mead empty? I don't know what type of snake that is. The aluminum radiator looks good.

It looks like a coach whip. They keep the rattler's down, as they eat the small one's.

I agree with the assessment of Lake Mead. Same story for Powell too.

Agree with Geno on the snake, also referred to as a Red Racer. http://hrc.nevada.edu/museum/Education/ ... racer.html
