Ed and I have been conspiring to make a run over Wheeler Pass at night!!

Image

Friday night the 17th. We will meet at the Cold Creek turn-off at 8:00pm, roll out at 8:30.

we will also be running just to the pass, and back down, so the trip will not be nearly as long. Some of us may want to run the whole trail, so after hitting the summit, we may split off into 2 groups

if anything changes in the interim, I will update this original post.

Lucy, I never really thought about going back down the way we came after the peak. but the harder road after the peak through the trees can be fun!

haha.

I posted this run on another forum I frequent, trying to get a few more local jeepers involved in the club, or other groups in the valley.

Shirley and I will be there. I plan on doing the whole trail. The part through the trees to Wheeler Well is the best part of the trail.

I personally want to do the whole trail, too. we may have to split up after hitting the pass.

I'm in. I love going through the trees. That ought to be pretty cool at night.

I have a little different plans before the run, so I won't be going on the run from home. I'll be up north already. Al might meet up with you to go. He lives not too far from your area. Maybe he'll post something up so you can travel up together.

I'll see you there though.
