It was a relatively comfortable morning while driving to the trailhead. The temp started to climb but was still fine until we got to the Matterhorn obstacles. It started to get pretty hot by then with very little breeze. We got off the trail around 12:30 or so, and had lunch and some nice cold Malts before we headed back home. I pulled in my garage at 3:00 pm. It was a short, but very fun day.
It was funny how the hot air blowing across me while I was driving down the freeway with no doors or windows, made me laugh, becasue it was hilariously hot. And I loved every minute of it. Especially the passers by with the windows up and A/C on. I wonder what they were thinking? Probably what most of you were thinking before we even left. Muy Loco
