Nevada Backroaders

I would like to run the backside of Frenchman's Mtn. on Friday night, June 29 AT NIGHT Too hot during the day! Let's meet at 7:30 PM at East Lake Mead/Hollywood at the AM/PM, roll at 8:00 PM. The moon will be almost full that night. I imagine we will be finished at midnight, maybe later.

Caution: I don't really know the way- exactly- it has been years since I was back there... so I'm hoping someone can guide from the back (I dibbs the dust-free front zone!) Otherwise, I'll just drive around back there and probably take wrong turns here & there. Also FUN. Everyone can just follow me anyway.

Also - bring a desert to share. It should be fun!

Oh, well - so sorry. The interesting thing about "fun runs" is we don't HAVE to pre-run it. Part of the "fun".

Geno, Coral, Taryol and I ran this about a month ago during the week. The trails are all graded but they should be fun at night. We made a big loop starting and ending on Hollywood Blvd. behind the Silver Bowl.

Psssst...no AM/PM there!!! Terrible Herbst/Chevron/McDonalds on NW corner, 7-11 NE, CVS pharmacy SE, and Rite Aid SW. There's an Albertson's right there too (SE), being 24 hrs and roomy, it's a good meet spot.

Maybe this is an omen? Part of the Fun Run part of this Lunatic Lunar Run in getting lost before we ever get started? I may have to start this thread over! Are we lost yet?

Sounds like fun to me !!!! So far only Lucy & Joe .... CJ & I will be there,, as I need some dirt time... CJ might even bring someone along... I haven't got a clue as to a "dessert",,, maybe pudding cups or something... I'm not very creative when it comes to sharing food... Will the moon be up at the time we're out there ??? I hope so....
