been talking to beth, or at least playing phone tag.

We're going to explore Cottonwood Valley.
interesting scenery, A-frame houses, the shadow of Potosi, petroglyphs, perhaps some wildlife, and maybe end the run at the bar in Goodsprings for a brewsky.

good times.

Meet up at the gas station where Blue Diamond road splits to go to either pahrump or red rock Canyon.

meet at 10 am. roll at 10:30. 278-5411.

great trail day.
petroglyhs, cemetary, deserted homesteads, all within "easy" drive from goodsprings and the pioneer saloon.
now just gotta replace the linch pins i broke or lost and the shackle from the tire carrier.
i didn't think i banged the rocks that hard....
till the next sojourn on the road least traveled.

it's just weird that after that after that REALLY tough section near the start, you didn't lose anything, but on the easy road back your hitch pin just snaps.

guys, this is a fun place to go wheelin'. highly recommended. and MANY roads out there to explore yet...and mountains to climb. right Beth?

and close to town and stop at the Pioneer Saloon. great day.
