Hey Al,,, what's the problem.... As long as everything is properly sealed, the only problem I can see is if you stalled it... !!!! Then the water would flow up the exhaust system and then you've got a serious problem...... Looks like something Scuba Steve might even try...

Yeah, providing you don't want any of your lights or other electrical stuff to work for very long. I had an old CJ-7 that leaked everytime it rained at the windshield frame. Let me tell you, every time I turned around something wasn't working. I lost many radios, my heater blower motor and everything started to rust under the dash. Even all my switch contacts started rusting. This is why I love the desert!! :D
