Post subject:  SOLD Lifted 1997 ZJ Grand Cherokee SOLD

Sold fast on Craig's list.

We haven't done much off roading in a couple years :( and because I don't have the time to continue the project right now and we need a second pavement pounder (doing a long daily commute once a month now). It is with heavy heart that we have decided to get rid of the ZJ and get something more daily driver/pavement friendly/long highway trip compatible basically stock 4x4 rig.

It will take me a few days to get the Jeep cleaned up for the sale, and remove the goodies (CB and such) I want to keep. So during this time I have decided to offer the mighty ZJ to my friends and fellow NV backorders first. If you catch me before I get all the goodies out I may leave some in.

I'm going to ask $3500 on Craigslist, but between now and then will entertain any reasonable offer or trade for something more stock (4runner maybe) from NVBR.

The good:
New distributor
PSC steering box
Ball Joints replaced a couple months ago
Axle U-Joints replaced with Ball joints
Tom Wood's Custom Drive Shafts, front and rear
33x12.50x15 (5 mags 1 other)
custom bumpers, Rear has swing out tire carrier/Jerry Can mount/Hi-Lift mount
4 to 1 low range transfer case
Rear diff: Dynatrac built dana 44/4.56 gears/Detroit Locker with Eaton E-locker
Front diff: dana Super 30/4:56 gears/Detroit locker
Rock Crawler 5 inch long arm lift
Up graded Chevy truck disc brakes on the rear
Bilstein Shocks
I'm sure I'm forgetting somethings
Engine runs strong, drivetrain seems solid

The Bad:
When I'm working at home she is my daily driver, not too bad around town, but not much fun and very squirrelly on the highway. Bottom-Line She needs work, and some parts.
Really needs new steering linkage and ends. I was going to add the Currie CURRECTLYNC next.
Brakes need some work, front pads, bleed, TLC...
Body and interior ruff. I had visions of buying a nice limited with a blown engine and swapping the drive train to it.

Other little things
I have the sway bar, and disconnects, and new bushings to mount it back to the front, but it is not on it now.
I have new front break pads someplace that need to be replaced.

Thanks,
Mike
