I have one of these that is new, package was badly deteriorated so it's now loose but complete. Belonged to my uncle, selling it for my aunt. I have no idea what it's used for, maybe some of the radio guys in here know or might need one. Anyway, $20 and it's yours.

Specs: MWB-5803. Mobile Antenna, 150-174MHz, bandwidth 18 MHz, 3dB, 200W.
Picture of it here: http://www.epcom.net/Products/antennas- ... maxrad.htm

It looks like it falls in between but not in the 1.25m and 2m Ham bands and is far from CB 11m?. Looks like it is for Emergency services radios.

This antenna is for a VHF radio and is used for commercial use. Any one operating in this range has to be licensed to use it.

Knowing my uncle, it likely had to do with something with the BLM.
